Statement

I create art that focuses on personal growth and the attainment of wisdom through struggle. Through animation and illustration, I explore how physical conflict can be a representation for emotional and spiritual turmoil. The attainment of wisdom through struggle is important to my practice because setbacks are opportunities to grow and alter my mindset and approach. I use these lessons to create a dynamic narrative for my characters. Character design is another important part of my process as I can use it to show physical change in characters throughout their stories and demonstrate how navigating life changes them.
